Connecting with the Angelic Realm through our angel meditation class is a wonderful way to begin experiencing a powerful energy. This can then be used to gain insight and intuition, healing and much much more.
Energy is all around us but we are so busy that we often don’t even notice it. By finding a sacred space and putting aside some time we can begin to notice it, tap into it.
With most of us living fast-paced lifestyles trying to balance work, family and social lives can take it’s toll on our mental and physical well-being. Learning to meditate can bring a sense of calm and inner happiness to our lives and help promote feeling of peace and tranquility that often times get lost when we are busy trying to juggle everything we have to accomplish on a daily basis.
The practice of meditation is a gateway into your inner consciousness, resulting in an enhanced awareness of your own existence and your overall relationship to the universe.
Learning to meditate can have positive effects on stress-induced illnesses like heart disease and high blood pressure. In conjunction with traditional approaches to medicine, it can target the root causes behind stress-based conditions by helping you to calm and clear your mind.
There are many types of meditation, the easiest and best known form to learn is, “breath awareness meditation.” In our angel meditation class we use angels as our focus for meditation allowing us to quieten the ‘monkey’ mind and relax the body, bringing harmony and balance into our life.
Meditation is a great activity for bringing your mind and body into harmony with one another, keeping you calm and centered. The mind and body are often seen as separate entities, but they’re definitely intertwined and it’s impossible to separate the functions of one from the other. For example, if you’ve ever been anxious or nervous, you know how that feels in your mind, your thoughts race and you might even become irrational. At the same time, the nervousness has a profound effect on your body, your heart pumps blood faster and your muscles tighten. It allows you to become centered on your breath so that you can breathe deeply and relax, helping both body and mind.
Our monthly ‘Angel Meditation’ class, held on a Tuesday evening with Carl Whitwell offers you the opportunity to connect with the power, spirit and healing energy of a different Angel each month as well as practice self care and take time out for YOU.
